Bayou Outdoors pro staffer Rocco Marrari credits his big bass win and second place finish in a recent TRBA tournament on the Mississippi River to the use of the Bayou Bullfrog in areas of submerged grass. Marrari will also be speaking about Bayou Outdoor products on From the Outdoors to the Kitchen radio show in September.

Bayou Outdoors has just announced they will be giving away $500 of V&M and Cyclone products as prizes for it's new Facebook Fish Tales Competition. The competition is taking place entirely on Facebook and is open to all Bayou Outdoors fans.
First prize will receive $300 worth of incredible V&M and Cyclone Product plus a front page feature on the Bayou Outdoors website. Second and third place will get $150 and $50 of product respectively, as well as a front page mention on the website. The product alone is worth competing for, but the pride of being featured by the makers of these reputable brands is enough for some.
One of the best parts to this competition is that you the fans and customers are the judges. Everyone, no matter their age is eligible to compete by posting their best fish story and a photo to the Facebook event wall. Every story, not just the winners, has a chance to be posted on the Bayou Blog during the competition.
To learn more about this free-to-enter competition go to the Bayou Outdoors fan page on Facebook and click Events.

Congratulations to Opelousas, La., pro and Bayou Outdoors Pro-Staff Jeremy Guidry for his outstanding fourth place finish with 57 pounds. Relying mostly on a V & M jig with a Strike King Rage Craw trailer, he caught 22-4 on day one, 21-9 on day two and 13-3 in the final round.
“I had a tough practice and I didn’t think I had much, but I found a good spot and I got as much as I could out of it,” Guidry said.
Guidry’s performance on Toledo Bend enabled him to clinch the FLW american fishing series Texas Division points title and a berth in the 2011 Forrest Wood Cup in hot springs Arkansas.
Guidry said of the season, "V&M baits were a big key to my success this year."
